Trafficked: Inside the Illegal Ape Trade

I had been doing some domestic pickups with Mariana & the Trafficked crew, but when the main DP needed a longer break, I was thrilled to go to the DRC with them to shoot this episode on such a great series! I immediately wanted to create an anamorphic look to capture the expansive beauty of the DRC – whether in the highlands or in the markets, we dug deep into the illegal trade of Apes and helped to show how and even why this trade exists!
